With the recent agreement of AFIR and progress on the TEN-T revision, Europe is on the road to accelerate the transformation of freight transport. Given the targets for the use and deployment of alternative fuels and shore side electricity in ports, as well as the provision of charging stations for battery-powered electric and fuel cell trucks for long-haul heavy-duty transport, securing renewable energy supplies and grid infrastructure is a significant challenge. ELP is organising a lunch event to discuss the way forward, as all actors of the value chain as well as the public sector need to work together to make this green transport transition a reality.
